It is downright hypocritical of David Cameron to suggest he is cleaning up his party. So he's paid back £1,000. What about the other £20k per year?

As usual he makes all the right noises.  The system is broken, the rules are bad.  But he hasn't "recognised" as wrong the rule that allows him to claim over £20,000 per year in mortgage interest on his family home.  Surely this is the real crime.

Why doesn't his precious scrutiny panel take him to task over that? When is it his turn, not only to "atone for the mistakes of the past" but "recognise" the ones he's making now.
